Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, it's 2009!!!

Well 2008 has came and gone just like that. I haven't written anything since we lost our good friend Kathie but I feel it's time to get back and start writing a bit more often.

I know I'm late and I want to wish anyone reading my blog a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I certainly hope and pray that 2009 will be a happie year for all.

It's Friday, Jan 2, 2009 and I got to work this morning very early around 5:20 AM. Yes that sure is early but I'm planning on leaving around 12 PM noon or maybe even 11 AM. It's really boring and I don't feel like working. I have put up all Christmas decorations except for our Christmas tree which I plan on doing this afternoon.

My sister Bonnie wants me to go with her to Alexandria (Del Ray) and visit some of the places where we use to live as kids growing up. Earl and I were in Alexandria on this past Sunday since we went to Mount Comfort Cemetery where his father Earl Sr. is buried and to Del Ray then we stopped at Quantico National Cemetery where my parents John and Millie are buried.
