Outer Banks Countdown: 38 days & a wake-up!

We are now just 38 days away from our next trip to the Outer Banks. The first time my husband and I went there was back in 1978. A lot has changed since then as has everywhere I guess. I miss the small beach like atmosphere that it use to be like. Now there are big chain restaurants on the Northern Beaches I don't think they are on Hatteras Island yet, but I bet it's just a matter of time. Even with all of the changes I still love going back year after year.
